GOT BABY BOOMERS?
By Bonnie Caton in Portland, Oregon

This photo has sold over 3,700 times in an online stock photo agency. And yet, it looks like it could have been taken on a road trip with friends or family.

So what makes it sell so well?

While there are a lot of things about this photo that make it saleable, one of the main reasons is because of the subject -- active seniors.

Photos of active seniors are in high demand in the stock photo word right now. If you have similar shots with happy, healthy seniors out having fun, you could have a big money-earner on your hands.

Here are a few things to check for:

** The people in the photo are engaging with each other or the camera
** Their faces are in focus
** There are no visible logos in the photo

You will also need a model release to sell photos that have recognizable people in them. If you have a good shot of people you know, you could ask if they’re willing to sign one for you.

No matter what you like to photograph, from people to travel to horses to landscapes... you probably already have photos you can sell online as stock.

Think about it... you can follow your passion... let your creative expression shine... have fun... and make money, all in your spare time.

If you’ve been interested in selling your photos, but you put off getting started, or you’re just not sure where to start, try out the brand new 30-Day Stock Success Program. It will take you by the hand and lead you, step-by-step, though picking out your best photos and getting them into stock photo agencies where they can earn you an income. Hi Bonnie-the things that my untrained, unprofessional eye notice first are that his right arm is cut off at the wrist, her right hand and his left hand seem to come out of nowhere. Since I started receiving your helpful newsletters and tips, I've become much more critical when looking at photos. (Working at a spa, I notice photos with things like a massage therapist with long fingernails, etc.). Looks good in a picture, but not reality! Thanks so much for all your great information!
