Bargain Airfares to Our Workshop Cities

Just a quick note to let you know I found some AMAZING travel deals to some of our workshop cities this morning. For instance:

** $59 each way from Chicago to Nashville on Southwest. Or $88 each way from Philadelphia to Nashville.  Nashville is where we’re hosting our annual Ultimate Money-Making Photography Workshop, April 16-18, 2010.  It’s our only state-side photography program that takes you step-by-step through the art of selling your photos to magazines, newspapers, stock agencies and more.

** Or, you can go FIRST CLASS round-trip from New York to Paris for $1,310 (on an all-first-class plane). That’s less than half what you’d typically pay for a First Class seat – and perfect for our Paris Photo Expedition May 9-13, 2010. There are three seats left at flyopenskies.com.

** Or if you’re content flying in coach to Paris, you can slash that price in half. I found a round-trip deal from New York to Paris (with a 2-night stopover in Iceland) for just $642 or you can depart from Boston instead for $20 more on Icelandair.com.

** And a measly $224 round-trip from Washington, DC to Santa Monica on Jet Blue would get you – on the cheap – to our annual Ultimate Travel Writer’s Workshop coming up August 5-7, 2010.  The closest airport is LAX.

So you see what I mean: There are some serious bargains out there.

And if you sign up for a workshop that’s taking place 30 days or more from today you don’t even have to buy your flight today.  You can wait for prices to drop or sign up for an airfare watcher program like the one on Travelocity.com.  Just put in your starting airport and your choice destination and they’ll email you when prices drop below your desired rate.

Hope to see you someplace exotic (and on the cheap)!
