Ultimate Money-Making Photography Workshop,
Nashville, TN (April 16-18, 2010)
Spend three days in Music City, USA this spring at our annual “Ultimate Photography” event and learn how you can turn your simple vacation pictures into fast, fun, and easy cash. Our seasoned instructors will show you how to take better pictures, and how to successfully market them to newspapers, magazines, and online stock agencies. You’ll even have the opportunity to participate in several studio shoots and come away with photos you can sell right away.
What Makes this Workshop Different?
- You will not only get the group sessions our workshops are so famous for — the difference between an average snapshot and a $16,000 photograph… how to buy the right camera… how to edit your photos in Photoshop and Lightroom so that you look like a pro — but you’ll also get the inside scoop on selling and reselling your photographs — including everything from taking the right kinds of photographs… to knowing and understanding which market will be most likely to buy them.
- This is the only workshop of its kind in 2010. It details several markets where you can sell your photos instead of focusing on just one – magazines, newspapers, fine art, stock, food photography, guidebooks and more.
- You get hands-on practice working with live models in a studio setting
- The photos you take at this workshop are yours to keep (and sell)
- There’s always a session on travel writing, too. Combining your photos with words can make them easier to sell to magazines and newspapers – we’ll show you how it’s done.

Photograph the hidden streets, local cafes, and beautiful architecture of one of the world’s most romantic cities this May. In a small group of just 9 attendees, travel with professional photographer Shelly Perry up to the top of Montmarte… down the Champs-Elysees… across the Luxembourg Gardens… around the Louvre… to the Eiffel Tower… and beyond, capturing a splendidly picturesque Paris as you go.

Thailand Photography Expedition (December 2-9, 2010)
This December, escape to exotic Thailand for seven days. With a professional photographer by your side, you’ll explore the glittering Buddhist temples, Royal Palace grounds, and bustling street markets of Bangkok, as well as the spanning rice fields, elephant farms, and enchanting rainforests of northern Chiang Mai. Then, tour the fruit market and try your hand at cooking – and tasting – coconut curries and pad Thai in a traditional Thai cooking class. With just 7 other attendees on this trip, you’ll be sure to walk away with some breath-taking photos and a new appreciation for this beautiful country and culture.

Rich Wagner specializes in selling fine art photography. Attendees at previous events always remark on how easy it is to learn from him because he breaks down even complicated photo and editing techniques into steps a layman can follow. Tips for Getting the Best Airfare
- Be flexible. If you are willing to fly any airline, any day, at any time, you are much more likely to get a bargain fare. Check flight prices on the day you’d like to depart and return and also check prices one day before and one day after to see if there’s a significant drop in price.
- Look online. Use a site like Mobossiomo or Kayak to book your flight.
- When flying to Europe, consider flying to London, Paris or Madrid first. Then use one of Europe’s low-cost airlines like Ryanair or EasyJet to get to your final destination.
- Ask us. After you register, we’ll be happy to answer questions about booking flights in and out of our workshop-destination cities.
- More About the AWAI Travel Loyalty Club
-
The Loyalty Club is a club we created for repeat workshop attendees. It's a way for you to avoid paying full price on each workshop you attend.
The total cost of membership is $3,900, but you can deduct from that fee the total amount you’ve spent with us in the last 12 months – up to $1,000. You can also pay for this membership in monthly installments.
Membership comes with one free workshop, half-priced workshops for life, reduced-rate expeditions, five years of ITWPA membership (a $599 value) and half-priced Travel Division products for life.
If you plan on attending multiple events, the Loyalty Club is a great deal. A $1,397 savings in Nashville plus a $1,000 savings in Puerto Rico is $2,397 and that's just for two events. Add in free ITWPA membership or another live event, and you’ll see that membership in the Loyalty Club quickly pays for itself. To sign up for Loyalty Club membership and qualify for the reduced Loyalty Club prices listed on this flyer, go here …
