I took this photo at Camp Hadithah, Iraq. Working on top of the dam I came across this Marine on a dusty afternoon. I said hello how's it going? he replied I've got a good view and a place to think, so it must be going pretty good. I said then I'll leave you to your thoughts, and climbed on to my machine said good by and drove off. Having a place like that is hard to find in a war zone. What I'm thankful for is the men and women doing their jobs keeping us safe here in the states, so we can enjoy the holidays. |
