What if selling your photos to magazine
editors was as easy as clicking a button?
Introducing: A Surefire “System” for Breaking Into Magazines
You decide where you want to sell your photos.
And then let The System do the rest.
Dear Reader,
It took professional photographer Efrain Padro years of trial and error to figure out what I’m about to show you how to do in just 15 minutes. But he’ll still tell you today that his time was well spent.
You see, whether you dream of seeing your photos in glossy magazines, traveling on someone else’s bill, or having a stream of money from your vacation photos, there’s one thing you’re simply going to have to do…
You have to figure out how to sell your work.
If you simply take good pictures when you travel but then you never send them to a buyer, your dream will always be exactly that. A dream.
All too often I see great photographers sit idly simply because they didn’t know what to do next or who to talk to. And then when they find a publication they want to sell their photos to, they don’t know what to say.
The good news is there’s now a much faster way to sell your work and start enjoying the photographer’s life…
Introducing: A “System” that does the hard
work for you… and brings you more rewards…
You already know about many of the rewards that a life of travel and photography can bring you--personal freedom, free travel, a stream of cash from doing the things you enjoy. But often the rewards are unexpected. Efrain Padro, for example, enjoys a variety of goodies as a travel photographer.
For instance, for one assignment, he was commissioned to photograph four small businesses that made beauty products out of natural ingredients such as almonds, sage, and lavender. After each shoot, the owners gave Efrain the products he photographed. He and his wife are still using the healthy soaps, shampoos, lotions, and creams to this day.
And, while working on a six-week assignment for the Frommer’s Puerto Rico Travel Guide, he needed to get shots of the Heineken Jazz Festival, a very popular yearly event.
Well, Efrain was considered “foreign press” because he lives in the States. So when he requested his press credentials to cover the festival, Puerto Rico Tourism contacted him with a sweet deal. They paid for five nights (plus an incredible breakfast) at the beautiful 4-star Intercontinental Hotel. They also invited him to the foreign press luncheon at a fancy restaurant in Old San Juan.
The day he arrived at the hotel, the management sent a wonderful “welcome” basket of fresh fruit, cheese, and a bottle of wine to his room.
Free goodies, luncheons, and 4-star hotels are just a few of the wonderful things you can enjoy when you live the photographer’s life.
Now, imagine having an automated System that practically arranges these things for you so you can spend more time enjoying these perks and a lot less time doing boring, repetitive tasks.
If you’re intrigued by the idea that selling your photos to magazine editors can be as simple as clicking a button and hitting “send,” then I’VE GOT GOOD NEWS…
Your Dream Just Got a Whole Lot Easier!
Efrain told me it took him years to figure out just what editors want. Lots of trial and error. Lots of guessing.
But today, he basically says the same thing every time. He has a series of e-mails and cover letters… contracts and letters of agreement that have worked for him in the past and still work for him today. So, while it used to take him a few hours to sit down and contact an editor, now he just polishes off an old note and hits “send” in minutes.
I can’t tell you how many people I hear from whose dreams will never be realized because they simply don’t have the time or the desire to figure out the logistics of how to sell their work. So I asked Efrain if he would share his “system” for contacting editors, and he agreed!
Now, while you travel to exotic locations and take pictures, Efrain’s tested system can take care of the “hard” and boring parts of realizing your dream. It gets your work in front of magazines and other travel publications so you can focus on the fun parts of travel photography.
I’m very excited about the system Efrain has put together for you. While it took years of trial and error and a dozen or so books to put this tested system together, it will take you only about 15 minutes to start putting it to work for you!
Want to sell your vacation photos to the editor at a travel magazine, simply turn to page 17 and copy the note Efrain uses to contact editors.
Want an assignment letter so that you can attend an event as a VIP, turn to page 11 and 12 and copy Efrain’s e-mail and read what he says about finding the right person to contact to get what you want.
This is Your Chance to Get Over the
“How Do I Make a Sale?” Hump
Good photographs and articles usually go unsold because the freelancer is either too shy to approach an editor or doesn’t know what to say and what not to say.
But now there’s no reason to let your work go unnoticed.
The Travel Photographer’s Resource Guide: A Surefire System for Breaking Into Magazines helps you get a sale as soon as you decide where you want to sell your work.
Efrain has already done the hard part by testing everything in the “system” with years of trial and error. All you have to do now is tweak each e-mail, letter, or release to fit your needs, and you’ll be ready to go.
Whether you want to …
- Write a press release that grabs an editor’s attention [Pages 11 and 12]
- Get an editor to add you to the magazine’s photographer’s list [Page 5]
- Add value to your story (and therefore increase the odds of the editor wanting to publish it) [Page 22]
- Write a good marketing bio for yourself [Page 24], or
- Create an effective promotional letter to get or remain on an editor’s radar [Page 9]
… you won’t waste time trying to figure out how to do it on your own. Instead, you’ll just look up the way Efrain does it, add your own personal details, and send.
After seeing the system, Linda Camilleti wrote, “Efrain's guide is remarkable… It’s just what I have been needing to go that next step. A wonderful set of tools. ”
Of course, the Surefire System for Breaking Into Magazines does much more than just show you how to approach an editor with your work. It’s a complete resource guide of all the letters, e-mails, cards, and contracts/releases Efrain uses in his photography business.
From marketing yourself and submitting your work … to sending invoices and model release forms, you’ll have a proven system that allows you to knock out the paperwork--the not-so-fun parts of your business--so you can get back to the things you enjoy…in no time flat.
Among other things, it’s a stress-free gateway …a free ride, basically, to …
Getting Editors to Say “Yes!”
A while back, Efrain decided he wanted to get published in Outdoor Photographer. The magazine has a section called “Favorite Places,” and Efrain thought it would be a good place to break in.
So, he did some research and discovered that the magazine had never done an article on Pawnee Buttes, the iconic plains of Colorado. Efrain had been to and photographed the area before, so he wrote and submitted a 400-word article on the Buttes.
The editor rejected the article, even though it was well written. Efrain didn’t give up, though. He spent some time thinking about what else he could do to get the editor to accept his work.
It dawned on him that since the magazine is a photo publication, he could put one of his promotional cards [Page 7] with a beautiful shot of one of the Buttes on top of his cover letter. That way, when the editor opened the envelope, the photo would be the first thing he saw.
Efrain resubmitted the exact same story with the promo card on top. This time the editor said yes. Since then, Efrain has always included a promo card with his queries.
You can use this unique and tested approach, too.
In fact, you’re just moments away from getting access to sample promo cards, a query cover letter, a press release—and many other tested tools--to help you break into the magazines of your choice. The system helps you get editors to say yes to your work without the guesswork.
The Next Best Thing to Your Own Personal Assistant
Wouldn’t it be nice if you had a Personal Assistant to take care of the details of your business that you’d rather not be bothered with?
One who understands the ins and outs of selling to magazines and other publications.
Well, The Travel Photographer’s Resource Guide: A Surefire System for Breaking Into Magazines is basically just that. It’s a tested system that:
- Saves you tons of research, writing, and revising time.
- Gives you peace of mind that your letters and messages will be on point and professional.
- Frees you up to do more of the substantive parts of your business, like planning your trips and researching story ideas.
Not to mention, you don’t have to pay an hourly rate or a salary for it! For the cost of a single hour or two of a Personal Assistant’s time, you’ll have a proven system you can use over and over again.
Being able to concentrate on your hobbies while someone else puts together effective e-mails, press releases, and invoices to turn those hobbies into an income would be a dream come true.
But even dream businesses don’t always go smoothly. Like running any business, sometimes things don’t work out the way you’d like.
This system won’t keep you from having a bad day every now and then. But it can help you turn rejection into opportunity…
Turning Lemons into Lemonade
Rejection is an inevitable part of submitting your work to magazines. However, with The Travel Photographer’s Resource Guide: A Surefire System for Breaking Into Magazines you can turn this otherwise negative experience into something positive.
You see, whenever Efrain receives a rejection letter or e-mail, he responds with a “Rejection Thank You Note” [Page 27]. He also includes a one-image promotional card [Page 10] and encourages the editor to keep it for future reference.
These “little extras” are one more opportunity to make contact with the editor and show your professionalism. And they can really make an impact.
I know because whenever a freelancer does something extra to get on my radar, she stands out from the crowd. And even if I can’t use her services at the time, I’m more likely to remember her when I do need someone.
Special Low Price…
With all of the feedback I get from people whose dreams will never be realized because they don’t want to take the time to figure out how to sell their work, I’m convinced this system is just what you need…
Not only can it help you realize your travel photography dreams much faster, but it also allows you to focus on the fun parts of the business while you build your dream.
And when you respond today, it all comes at an unbelievable price, too.
Efrain spent years of trial and error trying to figure out just how to sell his photos to editors. And every day wasted was money and energy down the drain.
If all this system did for you was cut that time in half, it’d be money well spent. But we’re not even talking about cutting your time in half. We’re talking about reducing hours into mere minutes and years into something you can do in a single afternoon.
Efrain himself would have paid thousands of dollars to get his hands on these templates years ago when he was just starting out. After all, they’ve brought him thousands of dollars and dozens of free trips and experiences around the world since he created them.
But today, he’s offering them up to you at nowhere near that fee.
Order TODAY for Just $99!
Right now, you can purchase Travel Photographer’s Resource Guide: A Surefire System for Breaking Into Magazines for just $99 -- a fee you can easily earn back with your first paid assignment or press trip.
Why would Efrain give away something so valuable for a price that’s so cheap?
Because the past is the past, he says. Good cameras are getting cheaper by the day and editors are more willing than ever to work with complete amateurs. No one needs to spend years learning how to do this anymore.
If folks don’t jump on this opportunity now, they’re never going to get a better chance, he says.
In Travel Photographer’s Resource Guide: A Surefire System for Breaking Into Magazines, you’ll get 15 field-tested letters, e-mails, and other tools that can be immediately downloaded and used to promote yourself, submit your work, and obtain signed releases. You’ll also get a “Travel Workflow” sheet to help you protect your images and work efficiently while you’re away from home.
Remember, it took years of trial and error and many books to put this tested system together. But it will take you only about 15 minutes to start putting it to work for you.
With all the time--and frustration--it will save you, this powerful resource guide can more than pay for itself the very first time you use it. And Efrain really doesn’t mind if you do.
Try it out and send him an e-mail to tell him about the photos you got published on the cover of your favorite magazine. He’ll be thrilled he had a chance to help.
Send him a note to say that you just got an assignment to photograph a local fashion show, he won’t think of it as competition. He’s halfway around the world with more than enough work for himself. He’ll be glad to hear about your success.
