Lazy Days of Summer, Lazy Man’s Tip #3: Don’t Sweat the Technicals
**********************

Dear Reader,

In the Lazy Man’s Guide to Magazine Photography, the Lazy Man photographer doesn’t want to spend any more time processing photos than he has to.

Why spend time correcting exposure on your computer when you can snap a few shots, pick your favorites, and send them off with a story to make a few bucks – all without image editing?

The Lazy Man’s way to get perfect exposure every time -- and spend little to no time processing your photos -- is this...

LAZY MAN’S TIP#3: Set your camera up to “Bracket” your photos.

When you bracket your photos, it means you set your camera to automatically take three or more photos when you press down the shutter, instead of just one. Each one with a different exposure.

When you get home and look at your photos on your computer, you’ll see three to five identical photos of the same subject, all with different exposures.

You can pick the photos that look the best and dump the rest. You’re almost guaranteed a good exposure, and your camera did all the work.

Check your manual if you’re not sure how to use bracketing with your camera. And check out the Lazy Man’s Guide to Magazine Photography for more tips on selling your photos to magazines with the least amount of time and effort possible.
